- Some of Judge McKay’s Orders that were distributed were unedited and were entirely written by me

- Responsible for helping Professor Paul Longmore prepare his book, Telethons: Spectacles, Disability, and the Business of Charity (Oxford University Press: 2015). Professor Paul Longmore is considered perhaps the leading scholar in disability right history and has been called a “giant” in the field by his peers. Professor Longmore’s book was published posthumously in 2015.
- My responsibility was to research the history of the Jerry Lewis telethons. This research included reading newspaper articles and opinion pieces from major newspapers, particularly the New York Times and San Francisco Chronicle. The result was a research paper of approximately 100 pages, documenting the history of Jerry Lewis Telethons. This paper helped provide the factual basis for a glaring thesis and conclusion that the telethons were patronizing and dehumanizing and perhaps worse.
